Come si poteva farne a meno. Gideon Levy, il giornalista che inventa notizie a proposito dei cani, guarda sconsolato gli effetti dell'ultimo incendio nel nord di Israele. Ora, voi dovete sapere che la ricerca del colpevole, in Israele, e' uno sport nazionale.
Cosi', dopo questo orribile incendio, ci sono quelli che se la prendono con i haredim e con quel ministro ultraortodosso che non ha comprato abbastanza autobotti, ci sono i haredim che se la prendono con quelli che dissacrano il Sabato e poi c'e' Gideon Levy, che anche da un incendio trova le ragioni per sfoderare il solito refrain. Cui risponde, da par suo, Z blog: da leggere tutto con attenzione, ma intanto qui c'e' un assaggio:

Ah, integrating into the region. How exactly? By establishing an absolute monarchy, either de facto or de jure? By executing gays? By establishing a one party state? By banning all forms of dissent? By denying the existence of minorities?
Another problem with this argument, from Levy’s point of view, is that he and many who share his opinions think that Israel is already well on the way to abandoning democracy and becoming a fascist dictatorship. If they really wanted Israel to integrate into the region then that’s something they should be applauding instead of bemoaning .
